Leah Rodarti

Rodarti's subject matter explores the concept of “flattening time.”  In her paintings, she zig-zags between her childhood curiosity and her adult quirkiness. She does this while still holding onto her child-like innocence, through repetitive movements on her medium of choice. Her current work, time travels through experiences crossing between age groups as they manifest on the canvas. It asks the question, “Have we been here before?”  The body is like a machine that sources this otherness to help actualize any given moment.
